What we collect

When you create an account we store your name, email address, and the profile details you choose to add (phone number, saved addresses, favourite restaurants). When you book, we store the booking itself: restaurant, date and time, party size, dish selections, and any messages you send to the restaurant.

If you join a table as a guest through a shared link, we store the name and email the host or you provide so the restaurant knows who is coming.

How we use it

Your information is used to run your bookings: showing them to the restaurant you booked, coordinating group orders with the people you invite, and sending you booking notifications. We don't sell your data, and we don't use it for advertising.

Who can see what

Restaurants see the bookings made with them — names, party details, and dish selections — and nothing else about you. People you dine with see your name, avatar, and what you've ordered on shared bookings. Platform administrators can access account records to operate and moderate the service.

Location

If you grant location access, it is used on your device to sort restaurants by distance. You can decline and browse normally.

Payments

Convive does not collect or store payment card details. You settle with the restaurant directly, as you would for any reservation.

Your choices

You can update or delete profile details from your account page, and you can ask us to delete your account entirely at hello@convive.app.
